Synopsis:

 The Chronicles of Ether Drive

Volume I in "  The House of Winds "Anemo Gale is a crime novelist who exists more within the labyrinth of his own plots than in the picturesque reality of Ether Drive, a quiet neighborhood in Ireland. Whimsical, bohemian, and perpetually barefoot, Anemo is blissfully unaware that his home is actually run by a secret "crew": Mistral, a black cat with the poise of a Parisian aristocrat; Sirocco, a chaotic ginger kitten; and Aeolus, a scholarly mouse who lives among encyclopedias and "borrows" the writer’s forgotten spectacles.Their domestic peace is disrupted by the arrival of Fleur, a spirited seven-year-old with scraped knees who becomes Anemo’s unexpected muse, and by a simmering rivalry with Remi Storm, a successful author and childhood friend. When Anemo’s mother, Aura (aptly nicknamed "Goddess Durga of Cleanliness"), invades the house to impose order ahead of a major televised event, the tiny universe on Ether Drive is thrown into delightful chaos. The story reaches its climax during a high-pressure television broadcast. Under the glare of the spotlight and the weight of social masks, Anemo finally learns to embrace the "language of the bees"—a metaphor for intuition and authenticity. The Epilogue serves as an open window into the next great adventure, revolving around "The Collar of the Two Skies," a mysterious artifact brought over from Egypt by the writer’s father—a relic that promises to blur the lines between reality and magic even further.
